Heating System Power Flush — Greater Manchester
Power Flush Manchester
Sludge and debris in your heating system makes your boiler work harder and your radiators heat unevenly. A power flush clears it out. Cold spots at the bottom of radiators, noisy pipes or a slow-to-heat system are the main signs you need one.

Common questions
FAQs
How do I know if I need a power flush?
Cold spots at the bottom of radiators, a noisy boiler, radiators that take a long time to heat up, or discoloured water when you bleed a radiator are all signs of sludge in the system.
How long does a power flush take?
Typically 4–8 hours depending on the size of the system. Larger properties with more radiators take longer.
Does a power flush fix a noisy boiler?
If the noise is caused by sludge or debris around the heat exchanger, yes. If the boiler itself is faulty, the power flush won't fix that — I'll let you know before starting.
Do I need a magnetic filter after a power flush?
It is strongly recommended. Without one, debris will build up again. I can fit a magnetic filter as part of the same visit.
Will a power flush damage old radiators?
Rarely. If a radiator is already corroded, a power flush can expose the weakness. I assess the system before starting and flag any concerns.
